When you realize that the framework of your life can topple at any moment, that those you rely on for validation can suddenly disappear, and that your reality is just a blip in an immense cosmoswhere do you turn?


Creation becomes a means of regaining agency. When you turn inwards, you may find that it's possible to manifest the reality that you have chosen to explore. While there is a sense of relief in this, there is also a necessary acceptance in the natural processes that will inevitably throw you off course.


Meaning/becoming emerges from the rhythmical pattern of decline and regrowth.


ABOUT

This work is largely inspired by digital media, new age themes, electronic music, and nature; invoking visual experiences that result from altered states of consciousness. From pseudo-spirituality to digitized landscapes, I use a photoshop collage as a starting point, which is then translated into a screen print, painting, or multi-media work. The ebb and flow of digital and analog processes become essential to the finished product, with the traces the digital remaining present
